WTM RESPONSIBLE TOURISM

WTM - World Travel Market - is the world's leading event for the travel and tourism industry.

And there is the Latam version, which takes place from April 3 to 5 in Brazil, in São Paulo. But what does this have to do with ecotourism? Maybe a few years ago it meant nothing, and we, who work in the nature and adventure sector, were the "weirdos" of tourism. However, this panorama has changed and the need to take care of the planet has become louder. Today sustainable eco tourism is a reality and a tool for inserting the traveler in the reality of each biome.

Happiness is not enough to describe what we feel when seeing that a World Tourism Fair has an ever-growing sector dedicated to adventure tourism and ecotourism.

WTM Responsible Tourism is a program of interviews, panels and debates now in four fairs of the World Travel Market (WTM) Portfolio, including WTM London, Arabian Travel Market, WTM Latin America and WTM Africa.

WTM serves as an international forum to drive the responsible tourism agenda, through seminars at several of the portfolio's travel fairs, World Responsible Tourism Day, and working with responsible tourism experts to provide input through the WTM blog.

WTM Responsible Tourism aims to unite travel companies, organizations and individuals interested in disseminating sustainable practices and ethical methods in the travel industry. This site provides year-round content highlighting working communities around the world to help build a strong and sustainable future for travel and tourism.

And that's not all! All this movement generated a program for the Most Prestigious Award for Responsible Tourism, the WTM World Responsible Tourism Awards, which covers the entire world, rewarding the best work in Responsible Tourism, divided into four regions, with the winner of each region advancing to compete at the Global Awards.
