Slow & Steady is a lifestyle, a dream of its founder, Lia Barros, realized through an eco-sustainable tourism company

born from the search for balance between work, personal life and care for the environment. . Friends, family,

colleagues and collaborators who believe in what we do have come to make this project possible and there is still

much more to come, because a dream that is dreamed alone is only a dream alone. We believe in sharing, adding,

being a tribe.

The path towards ecotourism began in 2013, welcoming Brazilian tourists who arrived in Buenos Aires, offering

personalized itineraries of contact with nature in the city and its surroundings, which at that time were not part of

the tourist offer and were beginning to give their first steps. In 2016 the work was extended to Patagonia and since

2018 there has been Slow & Steady Travel in Puerto Madryn, responsible for tourists arriving in this region,

including not only Peninsula Valdés but also several other Patagonian destinations such as the Cordillera (with El

Calafate, Trevelin, El Bolsón), El Calafate, El Chaltén, Ushuaia, Bariloche, Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes. In 2023 we realize another dream and expand our family: Slow & Steady Travel Amazônia, in Manaus, responsible for receiving and accompanying those who want to live an unforgettable experience in the Lung of the World. That is why we can say without fear that we are experts in Patagonia and the Amazon. And we went further! Slow & Steady Travel Curitiba, where we work on ecotourism in other destinations in Brazil and the world.

Slow & Steady Travel® is today a group, currently made up of three agencies specialized in ecotourism experiences following the slow concept. This means that each travel experience will be very active, but not rushed. We say "currently" because there are many projects that are being created, always with the objective of promoting ecotourism as a tool for preservation and self-knowledge.

All our products are developed down to the smallest detail, where we build with our collaborators, associates, sponsors and suppliers a team united by the same values. We are a small and growing company that wants to make a difference in strengthening the sustainability of the planet through ecotourism. ​We are committed to prioritizing values ​​before benefits, seeking harmony between the visitor and the place. Our greatest challenge is to show all the wonders of each destination with love and gratitude.

Our mission goes hand in hand with respect for diversity, equality and total inclusion and with the dissemination of ecotourism as a responsible way of traveling, reducing environmental impact and promoting the use of resources and entrepreneurs from local communities. We incorporate social and environmental sustainability as fundamental values ​​to guide our daily habits. We support eco-sustainable projects and artisan cooperatives in the destinations we travel to. ​​Our Manifesto is our commitment.

We travel without plastics. We offset PLUS carbon emissions by planting one tree per person who travels with us. We created the S&S Club, to make this community bigger and bigger. We are part of a group that is growing around the world, creating a more responsible and meaningful way of traveling, believing that we must do our part to improve the planet.
