This is a very special expedition, prepared with great care. We will be in the heart of the Amazon, in the Mamirauá Sustainable

Development Reserve, staying at Uakari Floating Lodge, an initiative in Community-Based Tourism in the Brazilian Amazon that seeks to

be the best example of ecotourism in the Amazon. In addition to discovering and being enchanted by the preserved nature of the

Reserve, recording fauna species and incredible landscapes, we will also be in contact with the culture of traditional communities and,

in addition, contributing to the conservation of local biodiversity. Before arriving in Mamirauá we will spend two days in Manaus, a full

day in Presidente Figueiredo and three days in and in Tefé, getting to know and photographing everything we can, before leaving

for Mamirauá, where we will be in the middle of the Amazon!

- Visit to the MUSA Tower - Amazon Museum - to see the sunrise at very early morning

- Incredible birdwatching including landscapes and waterfalls in Presidente Figueiredo

- Visit to the indigenous community in Tefé

- Visit to FLONA in Tefé, one of the 65 Conservation Units of National Forests in Brazil

- Five days immersed in the heart of the Amazon, at Uakari Floating Lodge, within the Mamirauá Sustainable Reserve,

with observation of terrestrial mammals, amphibians, reptiles, butterflies, snakes and different species of birds, many of which

are endemic

- Detailed organization following the "Slow Travel" concept of our Slow & Steady Travel Manaus branch

- Coordination and daily monitoring of a photographer specializing in nature and wildlife, knowledgeable about the region,

in addition to our local guides
